Ayrshire, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - One year ago, Greg Norman held the 54- hole lead and remained atop the leaderboard well into the final round of the British Open Championship. Unfortunately for Norman, this is a new year and the two-time former champion had two lone bright spots to his round. Norman stumbled to a bogey at the second and, after a pair of pars, faltered to a double-bogey on the par-four fifth. He parred his next four, but more trouble loomed on the back nine. The 1986 winner at Turnberry, this week's host venue, tripped to bogeys on 10 and 11. He tumbled to plus-seven after bogeys on 13 and 15. Norman's troubles continued, as he double-bogeyed the par-four 16th. Things did get better for Norman, but it may have been too late. He closed with birdies on 17 and 18 to end at plus-seven.
