Hamburg, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Hamburg defender Alex Silva has been ruled out for at least eight months with knee ligament damage. The Brazil international ruptured his cruciate ligament during a preseason friendly clash with Wacker Innsbruck. The match was part of Hamburg's training camp in Austria. "Alex will be out of action for eight to 10 months," revealed Hamburg team doctor Oliver Dierk.
