Madrid, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Karim Benzema is definitely heading for Spain after Real Madrid revealed the France striker will be unveiled as their latest big-name signing on Thursday evening. Manchester United and Arsenal were both believed to be interested in the 21- year-old Lyon striker before Madrid pounced to take him to the Bernabeu last week. Real are believed to have paid $43 million to sign Benzema, who has agreed to terms on a six-year contract. He will join fellow big-money signings Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Raul Albiol at the Bernabeu next season. Benzema is one of the hottest properties in European football following two prolific seasons in Ligue 1 with the recently deposed French champions.
