Miami (9-0) has 3.69 total points and passed the Buckeyes by 1/100th of a point despite being idle this past Saturday. Ohio State (12-0) fell one spot after it narrowly escaped Illinois, winning 23-16 in overtime. Washington State (9-1) garnered 9.11 points, and Oklahoma (9-1) received 10.75 points as the two teams occupy the third and fourth spots respectively for the second straight week. Georgia (10-1) moved up to fifth with 12.16 points after Texas lost to Texas Tech, and fell from the top five in the BCS.
