Buenos Aires, Argentina (My Sportsbook) - Maxi Moralez scored with six minutes remaining, helping Velez Sarsfield edge Huracan 1-0 Sunday to win the Argentina Clausura championship on the final day of the season. Moralez scored the winner seconds after teammate Joaquin Larrivey collided with Huracan goalie Gaston Monzon, easily slotting the ball into an empty net. Moralez was ejected after scoring when he received his second yellow card for taking his jersey off to celebrate. Huracan, which entered the match needing just a draw to win the title, couldn't take advantage, though. Velez held onto to the final whistle to win its seventh league title. Velez finished the season with just one loss in 19 games, going 11-1-7. It won the title by two points over Huracan and Lanus, which both finished with 12-5-2 marks.
