Falkirk, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Falkirk have snapped up defender Brian McLean on a two-year contract following his exit from Motherwell. The 24-year-old Northern Ireland international had been with the Steelmen for four seasons, but made just 61 appearances after being hit by a career- threatening knee injury. Bairns boss Eddie May told the Falkirk Herald: "I'm delighted to have signed Brian on a two-year deal. He will give a real assurance to the back four. "He is a confident player who I am sure will develop and improve further at Falkirk." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
