Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - Minnesota Timberwolves guard Bobby Brown decided to exercise his player option on his contract for next season, the club announced on Tuesday. The 24-year-old, who was signed as a free agent by Sacramento after not being taken in the 2008 NBA Draft, was sent to the Timberwolves with forward/center Shelden Williams for Calvin Booth and Rashad McCants in February. Brown, a product of Cal State Fullerton, appeared in 68 contests in his rookie campaign, posting averages of 5.3 points and 1.7 assists in just under 14 minutes per game.
