Endicott, NY (My Sportsbook) - Fred Funk fired a seven-under 65 Saturday to grab a three-stroke lead after two rounds of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. Funk finished 36 holes at 15-under-par 129. That broke the old 36-hole scoring record of 130 that Eduardo Romero set last year en route to victory. The first round was completed Saturday after two weather delays Friday eventually caused play to be suspended for the night due to darkness. Ronnie Black and Romero missed the course record by a single stroke Saturday as they both fired nine-under 63s to move into a share of second at minus-12. They were joined there by Lonnie Nielsen, who shot 66 in the second round at En-Joie Golf Course. MORE TO FOLLOW.
