Stuttgart, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko could be heading to Stuttgart this summer after enduring an inconsistent Premier League season. The 27-year-old Russia international was signed by former Spurs boss Juande Ramos after impressing at Euro 2008 but fell out of favor when Harry Redknapp took charge at White Hart Lane. He found the net 14 times in 36 appearances for the north London side but started only two Premier League games in the last three months of the campaign. Stuttgart's general manager Horst Heldt sees Pavlyuchenko as a possible replacement for Mario Gomez who was sold to Bayern Munich last month for a reported $40 million. "We are looking for firepower and Roman Pavlyuchenko is a good striker and we have considered his name," Heldt told Stuttgarter Zeitung. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
