Gainesville, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Gators lost starting wide receiver Carlos Perez for the season with a broken right leg in Florida's 28-7 victory over the Gamecocks Saturday. The Gators had previously lost another top receiver when Taylor Jacobs injured his knee. His return this season is questionable. Perez had six catches for 59 yards before leaving with the injury late in the first half. "I believe it's a broken right fibula," said Florida head coach Ron Zook. "He's out for the remainder of the year."
