Teaneck, NJ (My Sportsbook) - Longtime men's hoops coach Tom Green will not be back to guide Fairleigh Dickinson for a 27th season in 2009-10. Director of Athletics David Langford announced that the school's and Northeast Conference's all-time leader in wins is stepping away after 26 seasons with the program. "We are so grateful to Coach Green for all that he has been able to do in his time at Fairleigh Dickinson," said Langford. "He has given a great deal to this University and department and we look forward to building on the legacy that he founded." Green leaves with a 407-351 record having taken the Knights to four NCAA Tournament appearances and a pair of trips to the NIT while leading the program to five regular-season championships and four NEC Tournament crowns. He guided the school to 17 winning seasons and seven 20-plus win seasons.
