Barcelona, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Barcelona has told veteran defender Sylvinho that he will not be offered a new contract when his present deal expires next month. The 35-year-old former Brazil international has been at the Camp Nou for the past five years and won two Champions League trophies, three league titles and one King's Cup. Sylvinho was a surprise starter in last month's Champions League final victory over Manchester United due to a spate of injury and suspension absences. However, the former Arsenal and Celta Vigo player has now been told he will not be offered a fresh deal and he will be free to find another club for next season. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
