Mitchellville, MD (My Sportsbook) - Inclement weather forced the suspension of all of Friday's play at the Melwood Prince George's County Open. Rain stopped the action on Thursday and the plan was to finish the first round on Friday morning. After pushing back the starting time several times Friday, tournament officials decided to call play for the day. The plan is to resume the first round at 7:30 a.m. (et) Saturday with the second round teeing off at 9:00 a.m. The hope is to play as long as possible on Saturday and the goal is still for a 72-hole championship. Cameron Percy is alone atop the leaderboard at eight-under 64. The tour's leading money winner, Michael Sim, is second at six-under 66, followed by Andre Stolz, who is in the clubhouse at 67. Tom Scherrer is five- under par through 12 holes. D.J. Brigman and Brian Stuard are tied for fifth place at four-under 68, while Todd Demsey and Bob Sowards are also at minus-four on the back nine at The Country Club at Woodmore.
