Belo Horizonte, Brazil (My Sportsbook) - Brazilian club Cruzeiro is desperate to hang on to Kleber amid growing rumors that Liverpool are lining up a bid for the striker. The 25-year-old insists that he is in no rush to leave his homeland, while club spokesman Guilherme Mendes insists that there is no pressure to agree a deal. "Firstly, Cruzeiro have no interest in negotiating for forward Kleber," he said. "He has signed a long-term contract with the club and Cruzeiro expect he will win a number of titles in our shirt. "Neither Cruzeiro nor the player's agent have been made an offer from any European club at this time. "There have only been discussions between the player's agent and club president Zeze Perrella about what would happen if a [$10] million offer was made. "Cruzeiro told him that the club would not discuss any offers of less than [$21] million." Meanwhile, Middlesbrough's Turkey international forward Tuncay has become the latest player to be linked with a summer move to Anfield. The 27-year-old commented: "Yes, I've heard something about that, but nothing official has arrived to me. Of course I would like to play for a big club." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
