Villarreal, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini insists he has not spoken to anyone at Real Madrid about taking the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Chilean is believed to be the preferred choice of coach should presidential candidate Florentino Perez return to office at next month's elections. But despite bringing down the curtain on Villarreal's season with a 3-2 win over Mallorca which saw the Yellow Submarine miss out on Champions League qualification, Pellegrini is remaining coy on his future. "I will reiterate again what I've already said," he claimed. "The important thing was the game with Mallorca. You want me to answer something I cannot answer. Nobody from Real Madrid has spoken with me." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
