Fayetteville, AR (My Sportsbook) - Arkansas forward Michael Washington removed himself from consideration for the 2009 NBA Draft on Wednesday, and will return to school for his senior season. Washington, who didn't hire an agent before declaring for the draft, needed to make a decision by June 15 in order to retain his collegiate eligibility. This past season, the 6-foot-9 Washington led the SEC in rebounding (9.8), was ninth in scoring (15.5) and third in field goal percentage (.551). |
