Glasgow, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Celtic defender Gary Caldwell has been rewarded for a fine campaign by being named the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League player of the season. The 27-year-old former Hibs star, who was also named the Scottish Football Writers' Player of the Year, is delighted to have won the accolade. "It's always nice to get awards," he said. "It's good to get some reward for your personal performances. "But football is a team game and there's still a reward I want for the team at the end of the season. That would really cap my season off. "I think it would be my worst season here if we don't win the league because we've won it for the last two seasons." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
