Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - Todd Marchant scored 75 seconds into the third overtime period, as the Anaheim Ducks clipped the Detroit Red Wings, 4-3, in Game 2 of this Western Conference semifinal series from Joe Louis Arena. Ryan Getzlaf registered a goal and two assists for the eighth-seeded Ducks, who return home for Game 3 on Tuesday with this best-of-seven set tied at a game apeice. Chris Pronger and Ryan Carter also lit the lamp, while Jonas Hiller was magnificent between the pipes, making 59 saves. Brad Stuart, Mikael Samuelsson and Johan Franzen each had a goal for the second-seeded Red Wings, who had not lost in the postseason since Game 5 of last year's Stanley Cup finals. Chris Osgood stopped 42-of-46 in the loss. In the third overtime, Marchant carried the puck across the blueline, came down the left wing and fired a quick wrister labeled for the top right corner.
