Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - Arizona Diamondbacks reliever Tom Gordon left Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers after suffering a leg injury in the sixth inning. Gordon, appearing in his third game of the season, uncorked a wild pitch with runners of the corners and Mike Cameron at the plate. The speedy Rickie Weeks broke for home, but D'Backs catcher Miguel Montero quickly regained the ball at the backstop and threw to a streaking Gordon. The 41-year-old applied the tag, but immediately went to the ground writhing in pain and clutching his left thigh. He was helped off the field by a pair of trainers and Jon Rauch replaced him on the mound. Gordon suffered a left hamstring strain and will likely to go on the disabled list for the second time this season Arizona signed the veteran to a one-year contract in the offseason. Gordon started the campaign on the 15-day disabled list with a right elbow ailment that cut his 2008 campaign short. The three-time All-Srar was activated earlier in the week.
