Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Philadelphia Phillies activated catcher Carlos Ruiz from the 15-day disabled list for Saturday's game against the Mets. Ruiz strained his right oblique in a game against the Rockies on April 10 and was subsequently placed on the disabled list. He played in only four games this season, recording three hits in 11 at-bats. In a corresponding move, the Phillies optioned catcher Lou Marson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. |
