Bronx, NY (My Sportsbook) - New York Yankees right fielder Nick Swisher left Friday's 10-9 victory against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim with a bruised right elbow.

Swisher took an offering from Jered Weaver off the elbow in the first inning but remained in the game. Then, as the Yankees took the field in the third, center fielder Melky Cabrera moved to right and Brett Gardner took over in center.

X-rays taken were negative and Swisher is listed as day-to-day.

Coming into the game, Swisher was hitting .312 with a team-leading seven homers and 19 RBI.
