Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami center Jermaine O'Neal sat out Friday's Game 6 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against Atlanta due to a concussion. The team announced that O'Neal would miss the game due the injury he suffered in Game 5 after being elbowed by Atlanta's Zaza Pachulia. O'Neal is day-to- day. Hawks forward Marvin Williams was originally expected to miss Game 6 due to a sprained wrist that caused him to sit out the previous three contests, but he entered Friday's game late in the first quarter. Atlanta forward Al Horford was expected to miss the game with a sprained ankle. He was injured in the first half of Game 5's victory and had to be helped to the locker room. The Hawks lead the series, 3-2, and will host Game 7, if necessary, in Atlanta on Sunday. The team is looking for its first playoff series victory since 1999.
