San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - Bengie Molina went 3-for-5 and fell a double short of a cycle, driving in four runs to help the San Francisco Giants crush the Los Angeles Dodgers, 9-4, to take the rubber match at AT&T Park.

Edgar Renteria ended 4-for-5 with two runs scored and as many driven in for the Giants, who have alternated wins and losses for the last five games. Emmanuel Burriss and Nate Schierholtz both collected two hits and an RBI in the win.

San Francisco third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who finished 1-for-2 with a run scored, left the game prior to the fourth inning with tightness in his left groin. He was replaced by Juan Uribe, who went 2-for-3 and scored a run.

Tim Lincecum (2-1) got the win after going seven-plus innings and giving up three runs on six hits with eight strikeouts and three walks. Brian Wilson got his fifth save despite giving up a run while getting the final four outs.

Orlando Hudson went 2-for-5 and drove in a run for the Dodgers, who have lost three of four games overall. Brad Ausmus and Juan Pierre also drove in runs in the setback. Eric Stults (2-1) was saddled with the loss after he gave up five runs on seven hits in 2 2/3 innings of work.

LA manager Joe Torre tried to switch things up, batting Pierre ninth in the order and Stults in the eighth spot.

"I made a couple of mistakes early on and they took advantage of it and hit mistakes, and that's pretty much what happened tonight," Stults said. "A few pitches I did make, they had some good swings, too. It's one of those nights as a pitcher you try to forget about and be ready the next time out."

Trailing 9-3 to start the ninth, the Dodgers rallied off Wilson. Doubles from pinch-hitter Mark Loretta and Pierre to start the frame produced a run. Rafael Furcal advanced Pierre to third with a ground out and Hudson grounded to third for the second out. Manny Ramirez hit a slow roller to Renteria to end the game.

The Giants got on the board in the first inning. Renteria and Sandoval had one-out singles before both scored on Molina's triple. Renteria had a single in the second inning that scored Burriss to make it 3-0.

"I just saw the ball hit the wall and get away and I said, 'This is my only chance of the year, let's go for it,'" Molina said of his triple. "I saw the ball hit the wall and I thought that it was going to be close or they might not even have a chance to get me out at third so I kept running, kept going."

Schierholtz had an RBI double and Burriss' single scored Schierholtz in the third as the home team assumed a 5-0 lead.

Fred Lewis had a two-out walk in the sixth and Renteria followed with an RBI double off Scott Elbert to make it 6-0.

Molina opened the seventh with a first-pitch homer to left field.

LA finally got on the board in the eighth inning. Pierre led off with a single and Furcal followed suit before Hudson clubbed an RBI double to left. Ramirez was then walked and Jeremy Affeldt was called on in relief of Lincecum. Andre Ethier grounded into a run-scoring double play and Ausmus later had an RBI single to make it 7-3.

The home team got two of the runs back in the home half, though. Renteria had a one-out single off Guillermo Mota, moved to second on Uribe's single and scored as Molina singled to center. A wild pitch moved Molina to second and Aaron Rowand was hit to load the bases before Rich Aurilia grounded out to plate a run, which made it 9-3.
