Kingston, Jamaica (My Sportsbook) - Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt was reportedly not seriously injured after a car accident Wednesday. The Jamaica Observer reported Wednesday that Bolt was treated for thorns that stuck in his feet after he left his crashed car, citing the sprinter's manager, Norman Peart. The paper also reported that Bolt was driving on a slippery road in the afternoon before his car went off the highway, shattering the front windshield and nearly tearing off the left-front wheel. Peart told the paper he was unsure how long Bolt's injuries would keep him from competing. Bolt won the 100 and 200 meter events at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, setting a world record for each in the process.
