Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami Heat forward Jamario Moon will likely miss the remainder of the playoffs after the team announced he will undergo sports hernia surgery on Thursday. Moon had scored 12 points in the first three playoff games for Miami before missing Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against Atlanta. He will rest for a period of two weeks after the surgery and be re-evaluated at that point. Acquired from the Raptors in a February trade that sent forward Shawn Marion to Toronto, Moon averaged 7.2 points and 1.2 assists in 80 games -- 60 starts -- for the Raptors and Heat this season.
