Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Toronto Raptors guard Jose Calderon underwent surgery Tuesday to repair ligament damage and capsular laxity to the ring finger on his left hand. The recovery time of the surgery is 6-to-8 weeks. The Raptors failed to make the playoffs after finishing with a 33-49 record this past season. Calderon posted career-high averages of 12.8 points and 8.9 assists in 68 games for the Raptors in 2008-09. He also set the NBA record for free throw percentage in one season, making 151-of-154 attempts for a 98.1 percent success rate.
