Baltimore, MD (My Sportsbook) - Michael Young hit a two-run home run to help the Texas Rangers take a 6-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles in the finale of a four-game set at Camden Yards.

David Murphy went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored while Taylor Teagarden had two hits, scored once and drove in a run for the Rangers, who took three of the four games in the set.

Matt Harrison (1-2) had a rough start to the game, but settled down to throw seven innings, giving up four runs on seven hits with a walk and three strikeouts.

"He attacked the zone and used all his pitches," said Rangers manager Ron Washington. "He kept coming and he deserved a lot of credit. He got us through the seventh inning."

Brian Roberts drove in two runs while Robert Andino went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Orioles, who have dropped three of four and four of six.

Jeremy Guthrie started on the mound and gave up three runs on six hits with a walk and four strikeouts in five innings of work. Matt Albers (0-1) was charged with the loss as he was tagged for three runs on three hits with two walks while recording just two outs in the sixth inning.

"We had the lead, I came in and didn't hold it," said Albers. "I just didn't execute pitches."

Trailing by four runs, Texas got a run back in the fourth as Hank Blalock hit a one-out double off the wall in right and Marlon Byrd followed with an RBI single to make it a 4-1 game.

The Rangers made it a one-run game in the fifth as Young drove a pitch over the wall in center for a two-run home run and a 4-3 game.

Texas then took the lead in the sixth. With men on first and second and one out, Teagarden singled to right to bring home Blalock. After Omar Vizquel popped out, Ian Kinsler walked to load the bases and Murphy followed with a two-run single for a 6-4 advantage.

The Orioles were retired in order in the sixth and managed just a two-out single in the seventh against Harrison before he left the game at the start of the eighth.

Darren O'Day and C.J. Wilson combined to pitch a perfect eighth inning while Frank Francisco worked around a bit of trouble in the ninth inning to pick up his fifth save of the season.

The Orioles plated a run in the first inning thanks to a single to left-center from Aubrey Huff that allowed Adam Jones to cross the plate.

Baltimore increased its lead in the second with three runs. With men on second and third and one out, Andino ripped a single to right that scored Luke Scott. Roberts then followed with a single that scored Lou Montanez and Andino, who had stolen second, for a 4-0 lead.

Game Notes

The Orioles host the Angels for a two-game set starting on Tuesday...Texas returns home to face Oakland for a three-game series starting on Tuesday...Texas has hit a home run in 18 of its 19 games this season...Baltimore right fielder Nick Markakis went 1-for-4 in the game to extend his hitting streak to 14 games.
