=== Halladay expected to miss 4-6 weeks === Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - Toronto ace Roy Halladay is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a sore right shoulder. Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi made the announcement before Monday's 5-3 win over Oakland. Halladay received the diagnosis from sports orthopedist Dr. James Andrews, who examined the pitcher's ailing right shoulder. According to Ricciardi, no structural damage was discovered, and surgery won't be necessary. But Halladay, 7-7 with a 4.35 earned run average, is expected to go on the disabled list soon. "The best way to describe it is he has a tired shoulder and needs to rest," Ricciardi said. Halladay, who lasted just four innings Friday in his shortest outing of the year, is the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner. He has already been on the disabled list once this year with a sore right shoulder and has made seven starts since coming off the DL on June 12, going 2-3 with a 5.85 ERA. Pat Hentgen is scheduled to take Halladay's next turn in the rotation, Wednesday against the New York Yankees.
