Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies placed pitcher Franklin Morales on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a left shoulder strain. Morales started Tuesday's 9-6 victory for the Rockies over Arizona. He pitched two innings and allowed a pair of solo home runs. He was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Spring prior to the game. In two games this season, one start, Morales is 1-0 with a 3.38 earned run average. The team recalled Matt Daley from Colorado Springs, and the 26-year-old will make his major league debut when he makes his first appearance. He has allowed one earned run in eight innings, striking out 15, for the Sky Sox this season. Colorado also transferred pitcher Taylor Buchholz from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list to make room for Daley on the 40-man roster.
