Cincinnati, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cincinnati Reds placed Brandon Larson on the 15-day disabled list following Monday's 8-4 victory over Milwaukee, the third time the oft-injured third baseman has been sidelined this season. Larson pulled his left hamstring running out a grounder on Saturday. The 28- year old has also spent time on the DL with turf toe and a torn thigh muscle during the year. Larson, who also underwent shoulder surgery last September and suffered a broken right toe in 2002, was hitting .212 with three home runs and 14 RBI. He has already missed 41 games while on the disabled list this season. The Reds will recall pitcher Brandon Claussen from Triple-A Louisville and will start the lefthander in Tuesday's game. Claussen was acquired by Cincinnati from the Yankees during last July's trading deadline in the deal which sent Aaron Boone to New York.
