Paisley, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - St. Mirren boss Gus MacPherson has attempted to play down speculation over Andy Dorman's future. The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with Rangers, Sheffield United and Bolton but MacPherson insists there has been no concrete offers for the former New England Revolution star. "There's nothing other than speculation about Andy and it's been there for some time now," MacPherson told the Daily Record. "There always seems to be some other club that pops out of the woodwork but where they come from we don't know. "Andy's had to deal with speculation for the best part of 16 months since he joined the club but it doesn't affect his performance and it's certainly not affected his goals. "When he joined us last January people sat up and took notice and wondered how St Mirren had managed to get him. "He had a slow start to the season which we put down to lack of fitness and sharpness but he has that now. You can see the quality he has and he's not disappointed anyone." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
