Pittsburgh, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Florida Marlins placed left-handed pitcher Andrew Miller on the 15-day disabled list with a right oblique strain following his shaky start in an 8-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park on Monday. Miller, who fell to 0-1 with a 6.94 earned run average in four games, including two starts this season, allowed four runs on five hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings. The lefty apparently injured the muscle on April 11 in a relief outing against the New York Mets. He started his first game of the season on April 15 versus Atlanta and gave up four runs in 4 2/3 frames. To take Miller's place on the roster, right-hander Burke Badenhop was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans.
