Orchard Park, NY (My Sportsbook) - The Buffalo Bills signed running back Dominic Rhodes on Saturday. Rhodes spent last season with the Colts and in 15 games he had 538 yards on 152 carries with a team-best six touchdowns. He also had 45 catches for 302 yards and three scores. Over seven seasons in the NFL, one with Oakland and the rest with the Colts, he has 3,114 yards on the ground with 26 touchdowns and 146 catches for 1,021 yards and four scores. Rhodes, who starred in Indianapolis' Super Bowl victory after the 2006 season with 113 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, should see a decent amount of playing time to start 2009. Marshawn Lynch, Buffalo's top back, will miss the first three regular-season games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
