New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - The New York Rangers agreed to terms with defenseman and 2009 Hobey Baker Award winner Matt Gilroy. Gilroy, 24, captured the Hobey, which is given to the top player in collegiate hockey, as he helped Boston University win the NCAA men's hockey championship for the fifth time in school history and first since 1995. He became the second BU player to win the Hobey after Chris Drury was honored in 1998, and was also the first backliner in Hockey East history to be honored as a First Team All-Star three times. Over his four-year college career, he played in 160 games and totaled 25 goals and 67 assists.
