Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Twins claimed pitcher Juan Morillo off waivers from the Colorado Rockies on Friday and designated pitcher Philip Humber for assignment. Morillo has made six appearances in the majors and is 0-0 with four walks, seven strikeouts and 11 earned runs over 8 2/3 innings. In the minors, he is 33-38 with a 4.51 earned-run average in 216 appearances, which includes 101 starts. Humber, who was once one of the Mets' top prospects and was taken with the third overall pick in 2004, has made four appearances this season and has given up six runs over 4 1/3 innings.
