New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Vancouver goaltender Roberto Luongo, St. Louis netminder Chris Mason and Boston right wing Phil Kessel were named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending April 12. Luongo was nearly impenetrable, turning aside 88 of the 89 shots he faced in going 3-0-0 with a stingy 0.33 goals-against average and .989 save percentage as the Canucks clinched their second Northwest Division title in three years. Luongo finished the season second in the league with nine shutouts. Mason was also a perfect 3-0-0, posting a 0.67 GAA and .973 save percentage to help the Blues qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2003-04. Mason established himself as a legitimate starting goaltender in the second half of the season, compiling a 24-8-6 record with a 2.08 GAA, .924 save percentage and five shutouts in 38 contests since January 19. Kessel earned the third star after scoring a league-high five goals and adding an assist in four games for the Bruins, who enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. The former first-round pick led the club in goals with a career-best 36.
