Amsterdam, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Luis Suarez scored a hat trick and Dario Cvitanich added two more goals as Ajax remained within a point of second-placed Twente by thumping Willem II, 7-0 at Amsterdam Arena on Sunday. Ajax stormed out to a 5-0 lead at halftime as Cvitanich found the back of the net two times in the first 20 minutes and Eyong Enoh scored between the two strikes. Suarez then made it 4-0 when he converted from the penalty spot, while Urby Emanuelson added a fifth before the break, and Suarez scored two more in the second half to keep Ajax six points clear of fourth-placed Heerenveen and very much in contention for a Champions League spot. Cvitanich opened the scoring just two minutes into the game, and the lead was doubled in the 10th as a Suarez cross was nodded home at close range by Enoh. Gregory van der Wiel then had a hand in the next two goals that the home side scored, first setting up Cvitanich's second goal - which came on a strong header - and then drawing a foul inside the area to allow Suarez to score from the penalty spot. Emanuelson scored a good individual goal right before the break, and Suarez took over in the second half, firing home from the edge of the area in the 69th minute and scoring from the spot for a second time after he drew the penalty. Heerenveen regained fourth place with a 1-0 win over Volendam as Viktor Elm scored early in the second half, Roy Makaay bagged a hat trick in Feyenoord's 5-1 win against Heracles and Vitesse moved nine points clear of the bottom three by beating Groningen, 3-2.
