Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - Brian Skinner poured in a season-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers in a 109-78 rout of the lowly Sacramento Kings at Staples Center. Eric Gordon added 20 points and Baron Davis 16 for the Clippers, who snapped a six-game losing streak. Chris Kaman donated 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Mike Taylor and Alex Acker both had 11 points in the win. Beno Udrih totaled 18 points for the Kings, who dropped their seventh straight game. Ike Diogu had 13 points and Andres Nocioni 11 with nine rebounds. The Clippers were up 35-13 after the first quarter and led 58-32 at the break. Davis' layup and Fred Jones' three-pointer gave LA a 71-41 lead midway through the third frame. "We got off to a good start, shots were falling and we got stops," said Jones. The home team was on top 83-52 heading into the final 12 minutes. The Kings failed to pose a threat in the fourth. "It's absolutely embarrassing...from the standpoint of the franchise, the ownership and everything we stand for, the way we did not come out and play tonight," said Kings head coach Kenny Natt. "It was a tough loss and we earned it." Game Notes The Clippers avoided the season sweep, as Sacramento was 3-1 against LA this season...LA shot 56 percent from the field, while Sacramento hit at a 32.6 percent clip...LA (19-60) and the Kings (16-63) are the two worst teams in the Western Conference.
