Phoenix, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Arizona Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb will miss his slated start on Saturday due to right shoulder stiffness. Webb made his season debut on Monday versus Colorado and was roughed up for six runs on six hits -- two of those homers -- and a pair of walks over four innings while battling the ailment. According to Arizona's Web site, the 29-year-old righty felt better after playing catch on Tuesday, but the stiffness in his shoulder returned on Wednesday. Yusmeiro Petit will start in Webb's place on Saturday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Webb, the 2006 National League Cy Young Award winner, led the league with 22 wins a season ago and posted a 3.30 earned run average in 34 starts.
