Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - Danny Granger poured in a game-high 31 points and T.J. Ford drilled a fadeaway jumper in the final seconds to lift the Indiana Pacers past the Chicago Bulls, 107-105, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

After Ben Gordon tied the game at 105, Ford lifted Indiana to victory with a jumper from just inside the stripe with 3.9 ticks remaining.

Following a timeout, Gordon's trey fell short of the basket to give the Pacers the win.

"That was a heck of a win. The guys showed we're never out of it. We were down eight, hung in there, fought back and won a game against a heck of a team. T.J, (Ford) was terrific," Indiana coach Jim O'Brien said.

Troy Murphy added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers, who improved to 2-0 on a three-game homestand. Brandon Rush ended with 11 points and Jarrett Jack 10 with eight assists and six rebounds. Ford contributed 22 points and nine helpers off the bench.

Indiana is 3 1/2 games behind the Bulls for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Derrick Rose paced Chicago with 24 points, 11 boards, and six assists. Kirk Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas each netted 20 points for the Bulls, who have dropped two straight games after winning four in a row. Gordon ended with 12 points, while Brad Miller had 14 points and eight assists off the bench.

"Tough game. Guys played hard but we didn't execute down the stretch," Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro said. "T.J. (Ford) picked us apart and Granger (Danny) was tough. We have to get back to work, but our guys played hard."

Chicago trails Detroit by one game for the seventh seed in the East but Charlotte remains just one game out of the final postseason spot.

Ahead 87-85 with eight minutes to play, the Bulls used a 10-4 spurt to increase their gap to 97-89. Tyrus Thomas' layup topped off the surge with under 6 1/2 minutes remaining.

However, Indiana scored nine straight points to take a 105-103 edge with 3:46 to go. Granger's layup with 1:26 remaining cut the deficit to one and his three-pointer that followed put the Pacers ahead with 42.7 ticks left.

Gordon's jumper on the Bulls' next trip down the floor deadlocked the tilt at 105 with 38.2 seconds left, setting up Ford's heroics.

The Bulls led for a majority of the first quarter, but Indiana ended the period on a strong note to take a 28-24 edge but Chicago bounced back to take a slim 52-50 margin heading into the second half.

The Pacers started the third period on 9-2 spurt to take a 59-54 advantage. but Chicago took back the momentum by ripping off 11 consecutive points to build a 69-63 lead. Hinrich's trey capped off the surge with just over four minutes remaining and the Bulls held onto a 79-76 edge going into the final quarter.

Game Notes

The Pacers went 6-of-19 from three-point land, while the Bulls went 3-of-11 from beyond the arc...The teams split the season series, 2-2...Chicago forward John Salmons missed the game due to a sore groin.
