Danielle Orsillo added 15 points for Arizona State (26-8), which will take on the undefeated Connecticut Huskies on Tuesday night in an Elite Eight matchup. Lauren Lacey contributed 14 points off the bench for the Sun Devils, while Kayli Murphy chipped in with nine points and a team-best six rebounds. Tanisha Smith registered 19 points for Texas A&M (27-8), while Takia Starks and Danielle Gant posted 18 and 13 points, respectively, in the loss. The Sun Devils were scorching hot in the first half, shooting 66.7 percent from the field to take a 42-37 edge into the break.
