Candyce Bingham added 15 points and 15 rebounds for Louisville (32-4), which advances to its first-ever regional final. The Cardinals will do battle with Maryland, the Raleigh Region's top seed, on Monday. Melissa Jones scored 13 points in defeat for Baylor (29-6). A 12-0 run in the second half enabled the Cardinals to put the Bears away. Strong defense was key to the victory for Louisville, as it limited Baylor to 25 percent shooting from the floor, including 2-of-23 from three-point range. The Cardinals have now won 11 of their last 12 games, as the only loss during that span came against unbeaten UConn in the Big East Tournament title game.
