Raleigh, NC (My Sportsbook) - Marissa Coleman poured in a school-record 42 points and ripped down 15 rebounds to lead the top-seeded Maryland Terrapins to a 78-74 victory over the fourth-seeded Vanderbilt Commodores in the semifinal round of the NCAA Tournament's Raleigh Region. Kristi Toliver added 17 points for Maryland (31-4), which will take on third- seeded Louisville in the regional final on Monday. Christina Wirth scored 28 points in defeat for Vanderbilt (26-9). The Commodores also got 14 points from Jence Rhoads, 13 points from Jennifer Risper and 12 points from Merideth Marsh. Vanderbilt scored 12 of the game's first 14 points and led by as many as 15 points. Fortunately for Maryland, it closed out the half on an 18-6 run and trailed just 39-36 at intermission. Maryland took its first lead of the game at 72-71 with just over two minutes remaining in the contest. In the final 30 seconds, Coleman hit a jumper in the lane and nailed two big free throws to seal the victory. The Terps, who are riding a 15-game winning streak, are now 7-1 all-time in the Sweet 16.
