Martinsville, VA (My Sportsbook) - Persistent rain at Martinsville Speedway forced NASCAR officials to postpone Saturday's Kroger 250 Camping World Truck Series race until noon (ET) Monday. Rain began falling at Martinsville just after the completion of qualifying for the 250-lap race. NASCAR also cancelled final practice for the Sprint Cup Series. Rick Crawford will lead the 36-truck field to the green flag. Crawford recorded his second pole at Martinsville after turning in a lap of 19.988 seconds (94.737 m.p.h.). Shane Sieg will start on the outside pole, the first time he will roll off from the front row. The weather forecast for Sunday's Sprint Cup race and Monday's Truck Series event looks much better. The forecast for Sunday calls for partly cloudy skies, while Monday's outlook is expected to be mostly sunny.
