Philadelphia went 3-2 on the road swing and ended the trek with consecutive victories. In a 114-108 overtime triumph at Portland on Monday, Andre Miller scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Sixers, who won for the sixth time in eight tries and sit sixth in the Eastern Conference, just 1 1/2 games behind the fifth-seeded Miami Heat. Andre Iguodala and Thaddeus Young both scored 25 points, while Reggie Evans finished with 12 points and seven rebounds in a winning cause. The Sixers will also host the Charlotte Bobcats on their upcoming residency and are 20-14 in the City of Brotherly Love this season. They have won three straight at home. Minnesota will resume a three-game road trip Wednesday and opened the journey with Monday's 109-97 loss at Atlanta. Randy Foye scored 19 points to lead Minnesota, which has lost five straight overall and seven straight as the visitor. Rookie Kevin Love had 17 points and Rodney Carney added 13 in the loss, Minnesota's seventh in a row on the road. The Wolves fell to 10-25 away from the Target Center this season and will also visit LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road swing. The Timberwolves defeated the Sixers, 102-96, on November 19 this season at the Target Center and have won two straight and four of the past five meetings. These two teams have split the last 10 meetings in Philly.
