Iowa City, IA (My Sportsbook) - Danielle Robinson shot a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, finishing with a game-high 17 points, to lead the Oklahoma Sooners to a 69-50 win against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Robinson added a game-high seven assists for the top-seeded Sooners (29-4) who will now face Pittsburgh in the next round of the Oklahoma City Region this weekend. Whitney Hand added 15 points for the victors and Courtney Paris nine points, 10 rebounds and six blocked shots, followed by Ashley Paris with eight points and a game-high 16 boards. The ninth-seeded Yellow Jackets (22-9) were paced by Deja Foster with 15 points, Brigitte Ardossi 11 and Iasia Hemingway 10 points and six boards in the setback. Oklahoma rolled out to a 14-4 advantage less than eight minutes into the first half, but after 20 minutes of action the Sooners had to settle for a 29-29 tie at the break. In the second half Tech completely fell apart at the offensive end of the floor with a total of only five field goals, allowing the Sooners to cruise to the 19-point win. GaTech finished the contest shooting a mere 27 percent from the floor and an abysmal 1-of-13 behind the three-point line. By coming up with just nine points Courtney Paris failed to register a double- double for just the seventh time in her 134 games with the Sooners.
