Notre Dame, IN (My Sportsbook) - Danielle Grant led four players in double figures with a game-high 20 points as the Texas A&M Aggies posted a 73-42 win over the Golden Gophers of Minnesota in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at the Joyce Center. Takia Starks contributed 17 points for the second-seeded Aggies (27-7), while Sydney Colson and Tanisha Smith both tallied 13 points for the squad. The 10th-seeded Golden Gophers (20-12) were paced by Ashley Ellis-Milan with 15 points and six rebounds, but the team could not withstand an aggressive defense by A&M which forced a season-high 32 turnovers. Shooting an impressive 56.7 percent from the field in the first half, A&M moved out to a comfortable 39-24 lead at the break. In the second half the Aggies dropped down to just 40 percent accuracy from the floor, but that was still superior to the 26.3 percent effort by the Gophers in the 31-point decision. The Aggies, who will now face off against Arizona State in the Sweet 16 in the Trenton Region, scored 34 points off turnovers.
