College Park, MD (My Sportsbook) - Marissa Coleman registered a huge double- double with 18 points and 18 rebounds as the Maryland Terrapins posted a 71-56 win over Utah in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at the Comcast Center. Also posting a double-double for the top-seeded Terps (30-4) was Demauria Liles with 12 points and 17 rebounds, while Kristi Toliver came away with 17 points and a team-best four assists. The ninth-seeded Utes (23-10) were paced by Kalee Whipple with a game-high 24 points, followed by Morgan Warburton with 17 points, although she missed all six of her three-point tries and was just 7-of-21 from the field overall. Utah led by as many as seven points in the first half, but with 60 percent shooting from the field in the frame the Terps eventually posted a 44-28 lead at the break. In the second half Maryland came back to earth with a meager 7-of-31 effort from the floor, and yet the home team still cruised to the 15-point win nonetheless. Maryland, which has now won 36 straight home games, moves on to the Sweet 16 in the Raleigh Region and will clash with Vanderbilt next week. The Terps made up for 16 turnovers by easily handling the Utes on the glass, 54-24, coming up with 25 offensive rebounds alone.
