San Diego, CA (My Sportsbook) - Nnemkadi Ogwumike racked up career highs of 27 points and 13 rebounds as the Stanford Cardinal cruised to a 77-49 romp over the San Diego State Aztecs in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Jayne Appel posted 12 points and 11 rebounds for second-seeded Stanford (31-4), which advances to the Sweet 16 to take on third-seeded Ohio State. The Cardinal also got 12 points from Jillian Harmon and 11 points from Jeanette Pohlen. Jene Morris netted 14 points in the ugly loss for 10th-seeded San Diego State (24-8), while Quenese Davis contributed 13 points. The Cardinal led 38-26 at intermission and registered the first four field goals of the second half to crush any hope San Diego State had of mounting a comeback. Stanford, which earned a commanding 49-24 rebounding advantage in the tilt, is riding an 18-game winning streak.
