Iowa City, IA (My Sportsbook) - Danielle Robinson scored 15 points and dished out six assists, as the top-seeded Oklahoma Sooners trounced the 16th- seeded Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers, 76-47, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament's Oklahoma City Regional at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Ashley Paris posted 14 points and nine boards for the Sooners (29-4), who will clash with the survivor of the Georgia Tech/Iowa bout in the second round on Tuesday. Courtney Paris also got in the mix, registering a double-double with 11 points and 16 boards. Dominique Smith and Gatti Werema each netted 15 points, as Prairie View A&M (23-11) saw its 19-game winning streak come to an end. The Sooners outscored the Lady Panthers, 14-0, in second-chance points in the first half, helping them to take a 38-28 lead to the locker room. Prairie View A&M hung tough for a bit in the second half, but Oklahoma closed out the game on a 34-13 run, as it pulled away for the 29-point win. The Sooners won the battle on the boards, 53-38, and held the Lady Panthers to just 28.3 percent shooting from the floor on the night.
